Janice is a survivor of an abusive childhood as well as a survivor of domestic violence in her first marriage. The impetus for this book was the loss of three immediate family members within a seven month period of time. This caused her to observe the effects that child abuse had in their early deaths and to also come face to face with her secrets of her own past. She realized that she had information that may help others to have hope and to expedite their healing process.
